Det EU-finansierade projektet PEER – Publishing and the Ecology of European Research hade igår sin slutkonferens och levererade resultat i form av en rad rapporter.
PEER:s rapporter är inte helt lätta att förstå sig på, men nyhetswebben Research Information har publicerat en artikel med titeln Weighing up gold and green som sammanfattar en del av resultaten.

Ian Rowlands of CIBER Research, which carried out the usage study, told the conference how randomised trials showed that if an article is available via green open access there is increased usage of it on the publisher site.
